Meet James D Stephens, DDS
Dr. Stephens has been a dentist at Palo Alto Oral Health for over 35 years.
When I was in third grade I had a playground accident that severely damaged my two front teeth. Through the initial trauma the subsequent infection and root canal dentists were always there for me. Ultimately, it was the opportunity to help and work with people that drew me to dentistry. I enjoy my interaction with the patients and being part of their lives over time. I feel it is my job to be more than a dental services provider; I am an educator, an oral healthcare specialist and a restorative dentist. I am very happy not only when I restore someone’s dentition but also when I am able to motivate him or her to improve their oral health to the benefit of their overall health.
Dr. Park and I have three children all pursuing careers, one in engineering and two in healthcare. We also enjoy spending time with our furry family members, Luci and Finn, our Australian Shepherds. Away from work I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking, hiking and fishing.
