Meet Our Team
In high school my best friend''s father was an Oral Surgeon. He hired me to help in his office the year I graduated and I've been in dentistry ever since. I enjoy interacting with the patients and being able to help them with their dental, insurance and logistical concerns. I want them to happy with their outcomes and how we were able to take care of them.
I have been married for 36 years and I have two amazing son's and 2 adorable grandchildren. Away from the office I enjoy entertaining my family and friends. I recently discovered that I have quite the "green thumb". Having a vegetable garden has been lots of fun and very rewarding. If you like zucchini!
Front Desk Coordinator and Assistant Office Manager
During my teenage years I was a manager at multiple retail stores. Then as a single mother I wanted a career change that better fit raising my daughter. Taking a chance, having no prior dental knowledge, I applied for a business office position at a dental office when I was twenty. With only my customer service skills I was hired and I have been in dentistry ever since 2001. I enjoy the patient interaction and the smiles we put on their faces.
I have a beautiful 19-year-old daughter who I am very proud of. Raising her on my own was no joke! Away from the office you can find me running or hiking trails around the bay. I've run many 5K and 10K events as well as 3 half marathons in the last few years.

After High School I had the opportunity to help out at our families dental office. My family dentist introduced me to the idea of a career and a dental professional. I value the trust and rapport that I have with the patients and I always look forward to our visits to help them maintain their oral health.
I have 3 grown children who are all working and on their own. Happily, two of them are now engaged to be married. I enjoy spending time with my family and keep busy knitting hats to help the homeless in the bay area.

When I was deciding on a career path in 1966, teaching and nursing were the fields women were encouraged to pursue. My mother, who was a nurse, suggested Dental Hygiene because one could combine motherhood and a career easily due to the flexibility of the job. I thought it a good idea. I got my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from UCSF in 1970 and it has been a great career. The practice of Dental Hygiene has allowed me to develop wonderful personal relationship with my patients. It is satisfying to see the improvement in their dental health because of the care they receive at our office.
I have a one son and two darling grandsons living in San Diego. My father also is still alive at 96 and also lives in Southern California. I am very fortunate to be able to visit them frequently. Some of my hobbies include family history projects which have taken me all over the United States as I followed my ancestor's path from New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Texas and finally to California. I also love gardening, reading (I belong to two book groups) and travel.

I enjoyed working for a dentist while in college and decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
I enjoy dealing with new people every day and, helping them with their oral health and then seeing them regularly to achieve a bright healthy smile.

While I was working as a retail clerk I saw an Ad for careers in dentistry. It seemed like it would be interesting and challenging so I contacted the school and I have been in dentistry ever since. I love helping people and I feel it can make a difference in their lives. It has been a very good long term career. Because of my connection to dentistry I have been able to help my family access care through the CDA Cares events. I was able to help her get out of pain and that is very satisfying.
I love to cook and even self published a South East Asian Cookbook, which is now on Amazon for download. I also do cooking videos on Youtube and enjoy meeting people and volunteering in the community.

I have always known I would be in the healthcare field, I landed in dentistry over twenty years ago. Seeing patient leave the office with a smile on their face after having a good experience with the work we did for them.
I have a beautiful niece that I see often and she always makes me smile. Away from the office I take care of friend’s dogs and spend time with my husband, family and friends over dinners, long walks and weekend beach time.
