Meet Shiv Sharma DDS
I’ve wanted to be a dentist since I was a senior in high school and required an emergency root canal. The compassionate care that I received from my doctor inspired me to want to pursue a career where I could help people and be of service to others. As a dentist, I believe that my job is to guide patients through the decisions for their optimal oral health and to provide conscientious and trustworthy care.
I was born in Palo Alto and completed all of my training in the Bay Area. My undergraduate work was at UC Berkeley and I received my DDS from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.
I perform a broad array of procedures to help patients achieve and maintain their best oral health. I use cutting-edge technology to get the best results for each patient and I am continually updating my knowledge on the latest techniques and protocols by attending courses and seminars around the country. I enjoy helping my community and I volunteer my time at free clinics such as Give Kids a Smile, Berkeley Free Clinic, Veterans Oral Health Fair, Livermore Mandir Health Fair.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, hiking, golfing, watching sports, and trying to find the best ramen in the Bay. I live here in Palo Alto with my loving wife, Tanya, a Stanford Physician.
